Willing to be involved in APEN activities?
Background
The Directors of APEN have introduced a new Board structure which includes 5 standing committees and task forces. Task Forces are established as required and sit under the committees:
- Governance and Strategy
- Business Development
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Audit, Risk & Financial Control
- Regional Activities Coordinators (Regional Coordinators are elected)
APEN members are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to join any of the first four committees and/or a task force.
Task Forces (Operational committees responsible to the relevant APEN Ltd Committees)
- An ongoing task force is the APEN 2022 International Conference will be held in Melbourne in February 2022 Convened by Dr Ruth Nettle. Face to face and virtual events will be included.
- The Communications Task Force sits under the Stakeholder Engagement committee. Members of the former Communications committee have been contacted to see if they are still willing to be involved. Those involved in the publication of eBulletin, ExtensionNet and the Rural Extension & Innovation Systems Journal form another Task Force.
The former Education Training & Accreditation/Professional Development committee are welcome to indicate their interest in still being involved by contacting Roe info@apen.org.au. This will be a task force of the Stakeholder Engagement Committee.
Other Task Forces will be developed as the need arises.
Terms of reference are available by clicking the committee name above. Task forces will develop their own ToRs.
