Dr Terry Parminter, Life Member

Dr Terry Parminter has been actively involved in APEN for many years; participating in conferences, forums and NZ APEN regional activities, contributing to the Shaping Change book, and was one of the first to seek APEN-PM membership. 

Currently Terry is involved in the NZ hub organizing committee, even when initially planning to attend in Melbourne. He has secured considerable sponsorship for the NZ hub and is contributing to the workshops that are part of this event.

Terry is an extension ambassador.  Through decades of research and practice, Terry challenges thinking and initiates discussion about current and future extension practice.  He thinks deeply about extension and publishes widely.  His focus is on the ‘how’ of enabling change and empowering others to choose effective extension methods.  Always happy to offer an opinion, or to share an insight, Terry is highly regarded by his peers.
