Website Upgrade

Upgrading the APEN website

The Australasia-Pacific Extension Network (APEN) is excited to announce a significant upgrade to our website, creating a modern and user-friendly platform to serve our community of over 600 extension professionals. We are seeking qualified web developers to submit quotes for this important project.

Our vision for the new website:

  • Modern aesthetic: Reflecting the APEN brand with cohesive visual elements guided by an updated logo and style guide.
  • Intuitive navigation and concise content: Ensuring easy access to resources like the Rural Extension and Innovation Systems Journal and ExtensionNet.
  • High technical performance: Fast, mobile-optimised, accessible, and SEO-enhanced to reach diverse users.
  • Enhanced member features: A secure, value-packed members-only section integrated with our membership system.
  • Social media and event integration: Seamless links to online events and interactive social media widgets.

Submission details:

Quotes will be evaluated based on:

  • Experience designing websites for professional organisations.
  • A clear, planned delivery approach that aligns with our objectives.
  • Ability to meet the project timeframe, starting 24 March 2025 and concluding 1 September 2025.
  • Technical and creative solutions to enhance website usability.
  • Value for money.

Key project milestones:

  • RFQ released: Friday, 24 January 2025
  • Quotes due: 9:00 AM AEST, Monday, 24 February 2025
  • Project commencement: Monday, 24 March 2025
  • Completion date: Monday, 1 September 2025
