President- Noel Ainsworth, Director
As a Principal Supply Chain Horticulturist in the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, I work with horticultural industries to improve the performance of their supply chains to maintain quality and value through to their domestic and export markets. While I am based in Brisbane, this extension work involves building and maintaining relationships with people in those supply chains nationally and internationally.
Noel’s career has involved a number of management, extension, research, and consulting roles in non-government and government entities. These have been across the disciplines of natural resource management, environment and agriculture. Through this he has built extensive experience and networks in a range of horticultural industries ranging from tree crops, to vegetables, wine and hydroponics.
I have demonstrated my commitment to life-long learning through my Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Plant Physiology), Graduate Certificate in Rural Systems Management, Masters of Applied Science (Extension and Rural Development), and Company Directors Diploma.
I am a completer finisher, revelling in a highly productive work environment. I also am strongly driven by planning, keeping time for both the people as well as the strategic and tactical elements of my role. Like most, my efforts towards work life balance is a work in progress.
